Fashion and Textiles Day 3

Modelling, we all modelled for each other work.
I chose Dan as i thought the horizontal lines may contrast with the shapes, and the long hairstyle kind of continues and connects with the shapes.

This was one of my favourite shot, its simple yet it bought out the outfit very strongly. Due to the white background shadows are created, i used the lighting from the windows behind him to create shadows and highlights.

The black and white shapes contrasts well, the colours made it obvious where stuff are coming out of the model. I think the 3Dness of the piece plays a lot in order to be unique.

The piece only mainly concentrated on the right hand side of the body, this was the idea of the "broken armour" which i developed in my sketchbook.

In terms of composition i was careful not to overcrowd certain place to create that negative space.

The dark long hair contrasts with the white pieces, the long hair gives an effect too, it looks like the costume is continuing from the hair. The outfit connects with the model.
Here i played with colours, using the extreme brightness of an object to clash with the outfit. The model to stand on this object in order to create a superior feel for my outfit.

The piece limited the model's movement, and this gave me the idea of the cage type look background. The model sat down to give a more trapped and unmovable image.

The next picture showed similar components but this time the pieces looked lie its trapping the model in around the lockers. The piece looks strong and even seems to be more powerful than the model.
