Fashion and Textiles Day 1

I found it really different and interesting how i got to work with other student's work, I learnt different styles how paper can form different types of structure and fonts. It was also fascinating to see how people comes up with lots of different ideas even with the same structure.

From this task, I learnt about working with other people and giving each other ideas. This task influenced the way i worked by the inspiration around me in the room.

This was the first figure we had to do, the structure here was very angular and straight edges. I separated some of the shapes and attached them downwards to create a more of a flow. 

The task for this was too create a figure with the term "anger", because the shapes of the paper was rather round and curvy, it was harder for a anger theme, so I aimed all the spikey and angular pattern near the top and concentrated all of them in on place so that the viewer sees less curves and more of the sharper pattern. 

The theme here was organise, we went with the idea symmetry, this figure here are neater and more sorted than the other ones. We used the same objects and structure on either side, the shoulders, waist etc. We tried to create a mirrored feel.
